Description
Disassembled automotive parts on display in The Art Gallery as part of the Auto/Body exhibit. Several spots in various colors with text are on the floor. A black spot in front of the car frame reads: “Oxidative stress will damage our bodies in the same way that rust might damage a car. Rust will eat away at the car’s integrity, causing holes and weakened joints. In our own bodies, it will manifest as aging skin, brain cells change, deterioration of the veins, scarring of the organs. One of several causes of oxidative stress is emotional stress. Salt will accelerate oxidative stress for both automobile and human.”
