Disassembled automotive parts on display in The Art Gallery as part of the Auto/Body exhibit. A green spot on the floor reads: “It’s funny that at any given point in time, I think we think we have it all figured out… even if we say we don’t. Hear me out. Think back to who you were ten years ago. Heck, maybe even five. Did you have it all figured out then? I laugh when I think about how naive/flippant I was about understanding the world or even understanding myself just five years ago. Yet today, today I say, “Wow you have it all figured out.” I only get to enjoy that feeling for a minute before I realize in five years I’ll laugh at myself. There is so much more to learn.”
