Sue Anne Rische describes “Auto/Body” as “an exploration of coming of age while living in Seattle told through the conceptual connection of parts of the human body to the parts of an automobile.”
“Through the disassembled car, the memories scribed in oil spills, the somber notes on toe tags, and their placement in the settings of human living spaces, I encourage viewers to identify with our cars and how their bodies carry ours,” Rische said.
This exhibit was on display in The Art Gallery from February 24 - March 14, 2025.
