Description
Disassembled automotive parts on display in The Art Gallery as part of the Auto/Body exhibit. A green spot on the floor reads: “I believe it is important to go off on your own as a young adult. You have to face life alone to see what you are made of. You need to expose yourself to new cities cultures, people, and belief systems. You need to live life and expand your brain with new experiences, even trying some food you’ve never tried before, to grow new pathways in your brain. It’s these experiences that will make you a whole, well-rounded, interesting human. It will stretch you and give you compassion and empathy towards others in different situations. Most importantly, you need to laugh, and give love, and receive love. A blue spot (top left) on the floor reads: “I still dream about Seattle. The dreams are very vivid. Half anxiety because I don’t want to be there, and half wonder, awe, and nostalgia.”
