Summary

An abandoned Ferris wheel in a empty field on a little traveled country highway in north central Texas caught my eye while driving home to see my mother. She is gone now and there will be no more road trips taking me home. The Ferris wheel serves as a reminder and a warm memory of the road and the purpose of my travel.
