Summary
This poem mixes the metaphor of place and uses branding terminologies to conflate notions of reality and location in a post-modern, post-literate American culture.By blurring the lines of reality, it links to the subconscious and commits to realism the same fuzzy truisms an Instagram post adds to the visual-literary canon.
