Abstract

Based on the movie by the same name, this Tony Award winning musical follows the story of Ren and his mother as they move from Chicago to the small town of Bomont. The town doesn’t agree with some of Ren’s big city ideas. In the end the town agrees to hold a dance which helps heal the wounds of an old tragedy.
