Once popular actors George and Charlotte Hay are stuck doing dinner theatre in Buffalo, New York, when they hear that famous director Frank Capra is looking for replacement actors for his new picture. He wants to see them perform, but George can’t convince Charlotte it’s a real opportunity. By the time Charlotte comes around to the possibility of a film career, the play within a play has gone all wrong. Filled with mistaken identities, accidental inebriation, a meddling mother-in-law, and several romantic entanglements gone wrong, “Moon Over Buffalo” offers a peek behind the stage curtain that’s sure to delight.
