The images and characters in “ANON(ymous)” are inspired by Homer’s epic poem, “The Odyssey,” and Ulysses’ struggle to return home to Ithaca after the Trojan War. On one level, ANON(ymous) is a modern reimagining of Ulysses’ battling gods and goddesses, outwitting the Cyclops and the Sirens, to return to his family after the Trojan War. On another, it is a story of struggle, survival, searching for home, remembering who we are, where we have come from and where we might yet go. It is everyone’s story.
