Abstract

Historians will have a roundtable discussion about the slave trade and its impact on African and African American communities in the United States. The panel will also address how the slave trade ended, how it continued illegally, and the long-term effects. The panel was moderated by Professor Cristopher Redgraves. Panelists include: Professor Felisha Avery, Professor David Boozer, and Professor Jack Andersen. Thank you also to Professor John Glass for monitoring the Q&A during the live session.
