The Fantasticksis a classic musical of love, romance, adventure, family, and discovering what life can really be about and has been lauded for its nostalgic and universal themes. With music by Harvey Schmidt and book and lyrics by Tom Jones, the show ran off-Broadway for 42 years, making it the worlds longest-running musical. The Collin College Theatre Department production is directed by Joanne Zipay, who founded and served as artistic director of New York Citys Judith Shakespeare Company for 20 years, from 1995-2015.

The Fantastickswas staged at the John Anthony Theatre on the Plano Campus. It ran from May 3-7, 2023.
