Collin College is committed to academic excellence and career development. The primary goal of the AA - Criminal Justice Field of Study program is to produce graduates interested in or seeking a career in criminal justice. Students completing their AA in Criminal Justice leave with heightened critical thinking skills, exposure to criminal justice careers, and honed written and oral communication skills. As such, courses are designed to provide students an introduction to the criminal justice system, key concepts, practices, and criminal justice policy via critical analysis. In addition, students are encouraged to continue their studies in a four year criminal justice or criminology program.
